Question: What is the true use of tube socks?

Such a simple seeming question, but we found that tube socks have many "true" uses. When the Ask Boz Historical Sock Research "Snack Attack" Squad Team did a simple Snoogle search, they came up with the following amazing facts about Tube Socks in history, their role in the "Cha-Cha" revolution, and uses as "moral protection" when lampooning famous album covers.

  1. Tube Socks first appear in the "Inter-testamental" period, which is cool, 'cause it's fun to write and say "inter-testamental." Ancient societies used tube socks to hold their sacred objects. They particularly liked putting their prophecy items into the durable, stretchable sock. The sock itself was revered as holy, since it contained sacred predicting relics, such as bones, dice, entrails, hummus, Ask Boz, and husks of beanbag chairs.

  2. We apologize, but tube socks had nothing to do with any "Cha-Cha" revolution. In fact, we can't find any record that there was ever a "Cha-Cha" revolution. We aren't sure, but we're looking into the possibility that the Super Rough Draft Ape just put that there to have three things in his list.

  3. Finally, we find our tight, white friends are the covering of choice when gettin' nearly nekkid and puttin' on some nice, soft, cotton tube socks while immitating a famous album cover.

  4. Finally again, tube socks clean up a variety of personal messes. No size liquid expiration common to the human experience is too big or too small for the gentle, absorbant power found in a 6 pack of nice soft tube socks.

Feel free to think up your own uses! Remember, tube socks are fun, and multi-use, including the ol' "put them on your feet" idea.

Have fun - and keep on sockin'.
